About Us

What We Do

is a 501(c)(3) non-profit fundraising organization dedicated to putting
an end to the hunger crisis
on both national and international fronts.
In order to accomplish this goal, FOOD FOR ALL enlists the support of the
U.S. food industry and consumers nationwide to raise money
for anti-hunger agencies all across the country and around the globe.
Our primary fundraiser, the retail point-of-purchase program (P.O.P.),
appears at over 8,000 retail locations nationwide. Boards with
$1, $3, and $5 donation coupons are displayed at the grocery checkout
stand, customers select their chosen donation, hand the coupon to the cashier,
and the amount is added to their final grocery bill. The proceeds benefit
non-profit agencies of the retailer's choosing, and typically
these agencies are hunger-related. The P.O.P. program generally appears
in stores in conjunction with the holiday season, although some retailers
opt to run a year-round program.

Alongside the P.O.P. program, FOOD FOR ALL also raises funds through manufacturer cause-marketing promotions and charitable sporting events.
We also receive generous support from corporate sponsors, manufacturers, foundations and individual donors. Through all of our fundraising ventures,
FOOD FOR ALL has raised over
$53 million since our
organization's inception in 1985.

Hunger is something that millions of individuals and families experience on a
daily basis, including over 12 million households in the U.S. alone.
In 2004, the U.N. estimated that over 852 million people in the world were hungry. Simple statistics like these are why we do what we do.

In partnership with the food industry and consumers nationwide, it is
FOOD FOR ALL's goal not only to feed the stomachs of those who are
hungry, but to feed their minds and spirits as well.
